It’s officially Summer resulting in sunbathing under the sun with your toes buried in sand, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, consuming endless amounts of ice cream, foundation sizzling in the summer heat, – not so picturesque. However looking good on the beach without wearing a lot of product is most definitely achievable if you’re looking for that sun kissed glow we’ve got you covered.
If there’s one lady who always looks like a total seaside siren it’s Gigi Hadid- Think Moschino AW15 when Gigi had us in awe as the blonde bombshell stepped onto the runway with luminous bronzed skin, bare eyes, feathered brows and voluminous windswept waves.

- Once the skin is prepared apply a primer to mix with your choice of foundation this will thin the product out giving it a more natural finish on the skin, making the product easier to blend into the skin . Apply a pea sized amount of the mixture onto sections of the face and blend the product with your fingers as this will really help the product blend into the skin from the warmth of the fingers ensuring its blended well into the hair line covering the ears and neck.
- Apply a highlighter to the centre of the nose and inner corner of the eyes, and the cupids bow, preferably a cream or liquid based highlighter as this will settle best and will look more natural.
- To create the bronzed skin that we all want you will need to apply a matte bronzer with a soft bronzing brush. Apply the bronzer where the sun would tan the face, this is usually on the temples, the chin, grab a fluffy bronzing brush and blend the bronzer onto the eyelids and at the crease of the eye. As well as just below the cheekbones and slightly onto of the cheekbone so it defines the face in a more natural sense.
- To create a feathered brow apply a eyebrow mascara in an upwards motion moving the brows to the side into place.
Once the look is completed spray a fixing mist on your face for staying power, and your ready of the beach!
